Wing sprain? Seems ok.

Chicken us about 8 weeks or so, had a hard time getting on a nesting bar. Now she holds her wing out a bit. At first she seemed to have some pain, mouth open making little honking sounds, but walking around fine. Today she seems fine aside from wing being held out a bit. I can post a pic in a bit if it will help. I don't want to wrap her if it is not needed. How long should I wait to see if it improves before I do something? Is there a window of time that I should act before more harm will occur?

Yes, it acts fine. Eats, runs around, etc. Its in the coop and outside 70s and 80s. The wing is hanging down. Not straight out. I'll post a pic in a sec.

Did you gently feel the wing to see if there's any breaks? If it isn't broken I probably would just wait and see.
