Wing trimming

Hi All

At what age should the wing be cut on bantams, mine are 10 and 6 weeks old now and Im not sure whether to trim the wing or leave them as they are so small. Any suggestions please. Many thanks

Wait until their adult feathers come in. What types of bantams do you have? A lot of them are non flyers in my experience, so wing clipping would not be necessary.

I have 5 bantams but only know the names of two, a silver partridge pekin and a barbu duccle

If they're flying so that they're escaping their pen/putting themselves in danger, you could trim their wings now. It won't hurt them. But you usually wait until the birds have their adult feathers in (the time of this varies, but it can be from 4-8 months) in. Or, you could just not trim at all--at least the two breeds you described are poor fliers, and will prefer to stay on the ground once they get older.
