EagleStar stood on the old, cracked Moss rock and looked down at his warriors. He was still but leaving his state of denial; it was almost dream-like to him, owning an army. He stomped his foot down on the stone to gather the chatting warriors' attention. "Warriors," he called, his voice was of serious tone and a slight sense of urgency. "I request of you your attention at once. I have important announcements that involve every single one of you."

Lena (is her profile up? sorry! I'm probably bothering you!) and Delta approached the rock and sat down at the foot.

He cleared his throat, "I've been concocting this plan lately, a plan to move to better territory. This land's resources are beginning to diminish, all the while we are being surrounded by other, much larger clans, and we need to respond accordingly. We have the truce on our side, but still, we cannot take risks." He looked at a densely forested land in the distance, behind it were beautiful, lush green mountains, "We are moving," he took on a quieter tone, "Tomorrow, early in the morning."

"Wow," said Delta. "Tomorrow early in the morning I won't be up! I'll have to follow you out later in the day!"

*Gasps* "What will happen to this land? Will SC just end up taking it over or will it still be ours to hunt on?" Kernal asked.

"ShadowClan moved as well, so I doubt they'd even want it. If they take it, I actually don't mind; you should see the vast land SickleClaws has scouted out for us all." he said, then ruffled in satisfaction with his plan.

Rainsong felt at ease, now that they were moving. She'd seemed to be feeling rather paranoid, the past couple of days she'd been here. EagleStar dismissed the warriors and left for his den.

(Gotta go!!)

The eagle took over the task of warming the chicks after apparently all the mice in the forest had been stuff down their little throats. All ready they looked bigger, as if they were growing before Silver's eyes, and she nodded in farewell as she headed back for the Wingclan camp after being let down from the nest.

What she found surprised her. Eaglestar was on the rock that jutted up in the middle of the camp, with all the authority of a leader, but with a grave expression. Quietly Silver joined the others in listening, and her eyes grew round with shock. They were leaving! This wonderful place by the waterfall, full of food and shelter? However, she could see the reason in this. Shaking her head sadly, she thought of the seemingly dozens of chickens who had recently barged into Wingclan territory, for both good and bad intentions. Yes, Eaglestar was right.

But what about her? Silver kicked up the dirt absentmindedly as the crowd dispersed. She wasn't a part of the clan yet, and would doubtless be left behind. What a horror that would be! To live in this wonderful place and all its memories without any of the friends she had grown so fond of. It would be worse than going back to the factory. There was really only one thing she could do, one last hope.

Shakily, Silver approached the leader's den. "Eaglestar?" she said quietly. "May I speak with you?"
