Turning, walnut in beak, she saw Bloodwing run up, panting slightly. "Ymm?" she worked around the shell.

"Oh, Silver!" he circled around her dramatically, putting a wing to his forehead as if beholding the most gruesome sight in the forest. "Look at you, walking around dead on your feet!"

"No, m' not tured . . ."

"Nonsense!" he pushed on her shoulders, forcing her to sit on the ground, his eyes twinkling with something akin to amusement. "And don't worry! You just rest right there, I don't mind bringing that water in for Scarletnight." Putting on a humble, generous expression, he plucked the walnut from Silver's grip, as if he was helping a poor child escape from a burning building.

For a moment, Silver gaped at him, then gave a glance towards the medicine den and understood. "Yes . . ." she said loudly, catching on. "I'm exhausted! Thank you, Bloodwing. You are very generous." She rolled her eyes.

With a smiled 'thanks!', Bloodwing disappeared into the medicine den. "How are you?" he asked with a grin, bowing elaborately and presenting the water as if it was pure gold.

"fine, but my voice might" her beaks was moving, but no sound was coming, she grabs her slate, and rights
