Rosedapple sees the approaching shadow, sqwaks (Sp?) a warning and runs into a depression under a thorn bush.

Rosedapple runs out from under it and fliees onto the bush where she pecks at the hawk, trying to get his eyes so he cant see to hurt anyone.
