Wings not growing?

Are they all the supposed to be the same breed?
Could be you got a different breed mixed in with slower growing feathers.
How old are they, about a week?

Yes, they are the same breed. And the feathers are still very short. Extremely short comparatively - the others of the same breed have their wing feathers in, and starting tail feathers.

I have the same concern about one of my Brahma pullets. She is way behind with barely any feathers on her wings yet and others have their wings and are starting to get little tail sprouts. She's big and has huge feet, but is downy. I'm glad to see that your chicken seems to be growing its feathers even if it is a little on the slow side.

That's exactly the way it is for me! Well, mine is a Red Sex Link, so It couldn't be the breed could it? I mean, yours is a Brahma.

My Brahma is certainly growing; she is one of my biggest chicks! She's active and I see her eating and drinking all the time. It's just the feathers that seem to be behind. I don't get it!

NO WAY! Really? I didn't know that about roosters...I guess you could be right...I guess I'll just have to wait and see! LOL I might end up with a rooster named Lucy!

maybe both of ours could be accidental roosters. That would definitely make things interesting!
