Wings of Fire ~ The RP Part 2: Hope on the Horizon

Myrtle rolled her eyes. “I’m Myrtle, daughter of Fern.” Cohar’s eyes flew open. “That is what everyone calls themselves back on Pantala. So-and-so, daughter or son of so-and-so.”
"Are you from Pantala?" Cohar asked.

Fire. Burning Flesh. Screaming. Luna. Fire. Burning Flesh. Screaming. Luna. Fire. Burning Flesh. Screaming. Luna.

"Luna, you can't go!" Recluse shouted.

"Recluse, I have to! You know I do! Think of the tribe, of our dragonets! They will hatch within the month!" Luna argued.

"I know! That's why I have to go, I'm not going to be near good of a parent as you! You stay with the eggs, I go, I'll go save them!" Recluse screamed with tears in his eyes.
"I am the fighter-"

"That is why you have to stay! You'll take better care of them!" Luna said. She slid her talons into his. "Promise me, you will take care of them."

"Luna, this is ridiculous!"

"Recluse, promise. "

"I promise.. Now you promise that you'll come back to me!" Recluse said in a trembling voice.

"I promise that I will try my best to come back to you, okay? We will, we will raise our dragonets together happily." Luna said. She also had tears in her eyes.
There was a scream.
Luna started running towards the fire.

"Wait!" Recluse shouted. "I love you," he said as she looked back to him.

"I love you too Recluse, I will come back! Take care of our dragonets!" Luna flew into the fire.

Half an hour had passed, Recluse looked at the eggs, and back at the fire. He needed to go. As he stood up, he heard screaming, it was Luna. He flew as fasts as he could to the burning flames, he saw the tribe, dead, burned up bodies, the smell of flesh in the air, and he still didn't find Luna. He searched, sweat on his brow, it was hot. After long search, he saw her body. He screamed, cried, holding her hot, burned up body.

Cohar stopped his conversation with Myrtle, to hear screaming from inside the cabin.

Cohar stopped his conversation with Myrtle, to hear screaming from inside the cabin.
“Yes. I am from Pantala. I’m a leafwing aren’t I? They don’t usually live on Pyrria. “ she heard Recluse’s screams. “I’ve got to go. “ she ran inside, and shook Recluse awake. “Don’t worry. Everything is okay. What happened ?”

Cohar rushed in behind Myrtle.

"Nothing big," Recluse said. "What would make you think anything happened?" he asked.

"You were screaming, sir. Bad dream? I have 'em alot, usually flashes of my bad memories.." Cohar chimed in.

"I'm sorry for the screaming then.." Recluse said hesitantly.

Myrtle gave Cohar a look that meant “okay, you were supposed to stay out there but you chose not to”. She turned to Recluse. “It’s okay to have nightmares. I get them a lot. What happened?”

Recluse tried getting out of bed.
"No sir, you are badly hurt." Cohar looked at Myrtle. "You gave him typoxis right? The rare plant?"

“There’s none around here.” She replied. “But how would you and your cold-hearted armies even know what Typoxis is?”

"I'm the odd one out, interested in stuff the other guys say are for sissy's, that's when I ditched them. I studied the one and only herb book by heart that we have, and I found it in Pantala, yes I went there, and yes, I got a lot. Since it is the best pain reliever, and best healer, it will work perfectly." Cohar reached into his bag, and pulled out a beautiful, light blue rose, in perfect condition. He ripped off one petal, and put it in Recluse's wound.

Myrtle nodded. “It’s not for sissies. It’s for actual warriors. The kind of dragons that learn things even though society tells them the opposite.”

Cohar smiled shyly at her and continued working on Recluse, who passed out..

Luna was dead, she was dead! Recluse flew out of the fire with her limp body, not caring about the flames hitting his skin. He flew to the eggs with Luna's body.
He looked at them. "Guess you'll never meet your mother.." he choked.

He carried Luna to the back of their cave, and laid her down gently. He started digging with his claws, until a hole big enough to fit Luna's body was dug. He laid her down. "You'll never see your dragonets, will you?" he cried. He covered her up, and laid stones over the grave, when he was finished, he looked back at the 3 eggs, or at least where they were. He jumped off his knees and scanned the grounds, looking for his eggs, when he found a LeafWing flying away with them. He flew fast, remembering his promise he made to Luna, and jumped on the intruder. It was a girl! He couldn't hurt her.. She slashed at him, and threw the eggs into the fire they were near. He dove for them, and only caught one.. the other two..
He heard baby dragons screaming, he went into the fire with the other egg in his arms, but it was too late, the eggs were cracked, and the dragonets were dead. He looked at their not completely formed, tiny bodies, and screamed in agony, holding his one last egg...
