"I'm alright, but are you sure you're okay?" Ivory said carefully, not taking her eyes from Cinta. She eyed the SkyWing's fidgeting talons and unsteady breathing.

"Me? I'm Ivory." she paused, and continued. "I'm just trying to help the best I can. I just want life to be normal. Maybe I can be useful to you?" she tilted her head cautiously.

Cinta edged away from the thicket, missing Ivory's question. She turned back to the dragons, "I need to find Queen Raptor and speak with her. You may accompany me if you wish, your shifting scales may be of use."

(That would be awesome. You could totally join. Blue Raptor made a quick, short summary on what's going on a page or two back, if you haven't seen it, read it, then you should be all caught up.)

The forest fire story is actually really good because there was a forest fire in the rainforest near the beginning of the story! It was put out, but the RainWings don’t know that yet as they have been evacuated to the Night Kingdom.

(Setting is 2,000 years after the last book)
Queen Brightscales (Rain/Night) led her tribe there with her stepsister Reva (Sea/Rain) and met with her sister Queen Blackflower (Rain/Night).
Elsewhere, the ruler of the Scorpion Den, Raptor (descendant of Onyx) snuck to the Ice Kingdom and stole from the queen’s secret treasury. She brought back the gifts of stealth, strength, and an animus named Leif.
When they got to the Scorpion Den, Raptor made preparations to challenge the SandWing queen, Fennec.
Leif grew ambitious and sent spears to kill Queen Owl (Ice) and Ember (Sky). He then enchanted her predecessor Cinta to obey his every command, and enchant Reva to kill her sisters. She wounded Brightscales in such a way that she couldn't talk anymore, and a SeaWing animus was brought to the Night Kingdom to remove the spell.
Raptor won the challenge, and met Gila, Fennec’s animus son. He enchanted her earring with protection against Leif’s spells, but he was later enchanted to obey Leif’s commands as well.
Leif later led both Sand and Sky armies to conquer the Night Kingdom after going to the Kingdom of Sea to kill Queen Koi, who was also an animus.
Ender and Chenoa are mindreading travelers who met and are now at the Night Kingdom.
Cyprus is a LeafWing who got caught up in the war as well.
Leif has Brightscales frozen, Cyprus and Ender finding Atlantis, the SeaWing animus, who is magically hidden and protected along with Blackflower.

Physical appearance: Firey red body with streaks of orange and yellow, her tail is mostly orange with streaks of yellow.
Personality: She has quite a passive temper for her kind but can be very mean, and spiteful. She adores youngsters and is always happy to help them when they're struggling.

"Chenoa," the IceWing snapped, "what do you know of this Animus?" His thoughts scattered, the past 2 hours becoming a blur as fear pricked at the edges of his mind. He could order Chenoa to tell the truth, and she seemed to be in on this Animus business.
