He turned to Atlantis. "Almost thought we'd lost you there, several times." He paused. "Thank you for saving us. All of us."

Atlantis nodded but stayed silent, he still felt as if death had a grip on him, one wrong move and he'd tumble into the nothingness that awaited him. He had to hold on, for Pearl, for deepstar and for his dragonets.

That sounds amazing!! I think the tunnel system I had envisioned would make a good tribe secret/hidden base of operation thing instead.
