Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

"I am a NightWing, am I not? I hear every ridiculous thought flying through your mind right now." Leif winked, flashing Chenoa a broad smile, "disturbing, really." The Prince stiffened, realizing Chenoa might hear his thoughts regarding Fae. Leif had forgotten his conniving sister, or at least tried to, for quite a while now. But he had desperately returned to her, an idea which both relieved and sickened him, always the thought plaguing his mind. "Chenoa, please explain to me your good versus bad theory. What can I do to... to save my soul?" Leif quickly thought up a spell, blocking Chenoa by all his thoughts regarding Fae.
"It's pretty simple actually! Just do many good deeds, and stop doing the bad ones!" Chenoa was happy that Leif wanted to change. Maybe she could prove to Ender that Leif was not as evil as everyone imagined.

"But... by what standard? What determines what's good and what's wrong?"

(Hah. Explain that without the Bible, Ssshhhhabyyy. :pop)

"He destroyed the earring I had enchanted, Raptor. And I shouldn't overuse the magic. Right? Oh, I don't know. Yeah, a few protection spells make sense." He nodded awkwardly.

(Ah, thank you, I forgot.)
Raptor took a breath. “Okay, go get a piece of jewelry or something that you won’t lose. If you have to do a spell, plan it out so you only have to do one rather than several. Make a stronger protection spell for one. Protect yourself against Leif’s magic. Oh, protect your soul too. You can give that earring you’ve got on to Serval or one of your sisters.”

(Can an Animus make another Animus? ugh I'm so sick of magiiiic :/)

"We'll get to that in a little bit. Right now, let's just start with the basics. Definitely no starting wars. Nobody likes those. It's just a waste of dragon lives. Be forgiving. Everybody makes mistakes. And to make it fair, one for me too. No singing in foreign languages."

Leif snorted. "Alright." He'd already started doing all that. Maybe he was over complicating... everything. "Do you live here, Chenoa?" He glanced at the slumping palace, jerking his gaze back on the NightWing before him. He needed to leave.

" No. I don't really live anywhere. I don't fit in with any of the tribes." Chenoa sighed. It was true, she didn't. The IceWings had implied that she wasn't welcome after she told Hail about her mind reading. the HiveWings had been nice, but they weren't right either. The LeafWings would kill her for sure if she ever went back. The FireWings probably had forgotten about her by now. The MudWings… were… muddy. And the RainWings were just not her style.

"Huh." Leif grunted. He wouldn't show sympathy. Only he would star in this self-pity show. "I need to go. But I will return to speak with you, Chenoa." He gave her a stiff nod, then vanished once again, reappearing beside his sister in the library.
"Leif. Just in time."
"As usual." The IceWing Prince grinned, squinting at the gold chain draped across Fae's talon. "What's that."
"Our key to the Third Continent."
"Ah. Can we go?"
Fae smiled. "Of course, darling. Where's Silver?"
"On his way back." Leif shrugged, "Not much I can do to speed that process up."
"No," Fae agreed. "But no need to wait for him. He's not too interested in the continent anyway. His desires are not as grand as ours, dear brother."
Leif nodded, plastering a fake smile of his face. "Yeah."
Fae took his talon in hers, widening the chain and slipping it over her talon.

“Stealing from the rich.” She joked. She glanced up at the cloudless sky thoughtfully. “Hmm. I draw sometimes. Can’t say I’m any good at it, but I enjoy it.”
She ran a talon through her spinal crest, glancing at Cyprus. “Uhhh, i think that might be it? No.” She paused again, thinking. “Oh. I collect knives and daggers. I think they’re beautiful. There’s some really experienced crafts dragons in the kingdom of sand. Would be a cool trade to learn one day.” She reached beneath one of her wings, pulling out a short silver dagger with swirling black patterns on it. (Think Damascus steel.) “This beaut is my personal favorite. Hasn’t failed me yet in a pinch,” she said appreciatively, turning the dagger so it caught the light before holding it out to Cyprus. “And how bout you?”
"Ooooooooh... well would ya look at that." Cyprus exclaimed, his interest perking up slightly. "That's beautiful."

The Leafwing grinned. "I'll do ya one better though." He said as he pulled out a medium-sized dagger. The blade wasn't much to look at on first glance, but it was sharp enough to split an insect in half mid-air, and it gleamed so reflectively that it appeared an almost luminescent white under the moonlight. The handle itself was a remarkable creation, with a beautiful, elaborately-carved Pantalian scene on either side of it. All in all, it was an impressive work of art, and one could tell Cyprus was very proud of it.
