(Speaking of animal book series, has anyone read the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series?)

(Uhhh, maybe a Mudwing or a Seawing orrrr...

My first choice would be a Nightwing but everybody else here has one sooo

I wish all these continents were merged lol. I'd like to do a Leafwing but seems like a continent with only two other dragon species [Neither of them being very accessible and/or approachable] could get a little boring. So I dunno.)

The continents aren’t actually super super far- if you have a map (which there are now) you can make the journey (with stops on small islands).

(I definitely agree with that... what if we say the continents are closer together, or that an animus created a passageway between them?)

passages like the one between the Rain and Sand kingdom make sense. Perhaps we could say an old IceWing animus made if for a gift? The gift of unity.

Leif watched her disappear. He glanced around himself, unaware on the guard peering over the stairwell door, and followed the SandWing into the murky darkness, clumsily flailing as he fell down the hole. Leif landed with a thud. He stood wincing. "You didn't make it look like it was that far down." He grumbled, following closely beside the SandWing, flinching at the warmth that radiated off her scales. He heard a scraping sound from behind him and whipped around, watching as a light from overhead flooded through the tunnel, coming from the same entry point he had just sealed.

Raptor whirled around as they plunged into darkness. “What was that? What did you do?” She shouted angrily.

Leif took a step back. "Yeah, that was so not me." He said, offended, as a series of thuds and curse words issued from the back of the tunnel, "But I suggest we get out of here as soon as possible. That was a lot of IceWing guards."


(Maybe they get cornered, and Leif enchants something to hide them, sorta like what Turtle did? Then their alliance might make more sense.)

Okay, let’s say on the same beach the LeafWings and SilkWings arrived

An IceWing animus (he probably would’ve been famous for making this XD so let’s say his name is Frostbite) made the ‘Gift of Unity’, two tunnels in the side of a rock that when you walk through them, end up here:
