Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

“That medicine was perfectly fine. I'm an herbalist. I should know." Myrtle took out her knife for the 4th time that day. "I'm going to side with Cicada. If Cyprus lays a talon on her, I'm not going to just stand back and watch. She did not kill your mom, like he thinks. Acacia died of old age. He won't admit it because he's a twigs for brains. But that's not surprising, seeing as you are too." She snapped back, turning to leave. "I'm not afraid of you banishing me from your kingdom. I can survive plenty well on my own. And even if I couldn't, there are many other tribes that I could join!"
“Making your own tribe one of your enemies is a dangerous idea.” Flytrap said in a low, cold tone. “Just because you ‘know plants’ doesn’t make you a herbalist. And if you think getting friendly the the fugitive will earn you a place in the Hives, you’re wrong. Pollen is the one who sent her away. I made sure of it.
You overestimate your abilities, and you’re wrong about Acacia’s death. Now AS YOUR QUEEN..” Flytrap said, lifting her head and barring her teeth at the brown and green dragon, “GET. OUT.”
The guards outside the door heard Flytrap’s order and hefted their spears in warning.

"You know, I was." Cyprus remarked rather frankly, cooling down ever so slightly.

"But if you're lying, you're one of the best liars I've ever met. And I've never met a Hivewing who could fool me." He stopped for a moment. Something was wrong. This was going against everything he'd ever thought he'd known.

"I still don't trust you." He said, a little bit of the growl returning to his voice. "Take me to the spot where you supposedly sat with Queen Acacia on the edge of the jungle." The Leafwing asserted, deciding he was going to do a little bit of investigating to see how well Cicada's story held up. If it did at all.
“Oof. Thanks. I’ll take you not killing me and calling me a good liar as a compliment.” Cicada said, trying to hide a smirk as she rolled her eyes.
“We weren’t really sitting..” She said, scrunching up her face as she lifted her wings to fly Southeast.
“It was more like- awkwardly flying while she talked. I guess I can show you the place, I don’t have anywhere to be.” She said for a weak attempt at a joke. It made her heart pang with sorrow all the more though she tried not to let it show.

"I sure will get out. In fact, i will get out of this whole jungle. I'm gone." Myrtle pushed her way through the guards, and out into the jungle to try and find Cicada. She could easily keep her safe, and maybe even make her own tribe of outcasts. Life was going to be hard, but wonderful. She knew that for a fact.

Flytrap glared at Myrtle’s back as she left.
“Don’t let her come back here without telling me.” She told the guards. “I’ll go to her, I don’t want her to come to me.”

Myrtle had already taken flight , and was out of sight in the horizon . *next stop is the hives* she thought grimly. Maybe it was a bad choice, but she had to stop Pollen from banishing her own daughter, or worse, killing her, all because of a stupid lie that a couple of grieving dragons made up because they had no brains. If she flew fast enough, she could make it in about an hour.

The hour passed quickly, and Myrtle landed at the base of Yellowjacket Hive.

It’s, like, almost midnight btw.

Several HiveWing guards noticed the LeafWing’s appearance and flew down to hover over her.
“Who goes there?” One of them barked. “You don’t have permission to be so near to the hive.”

(I know )
“I’m myrtle. A leafwing . I’m here to see queen Pollen. It’s about her sweet daughter , Cicada, and Flytrap’s lie.” Myrtle replied . It was probably the first time in over 2000 years that a leafwing, who didn’t want to kill every HiveWing in sight, came to the hives. So what? She didn’t care a bit.

Ok this is supposed to be like…waaay in the future! Old grudges and wars can’t just be brought up allll the time, there was supposed to be a little more peace and not so much hating everyone for stuff that happened a 100 years ago….
Idk, it’s happened with the nightwings and Icewings, now the leafwings and hivewings AGAIN. How far into the future are we?
