“So, uh, why were you sneaking around the hives?” She asked as they descended down towards he trees. Their first encounter had been weeks ago, but Cicada’s curiosity hadn’t lessened since.

"Well, I sure wasn't planning on murdering any queens, I can say that." He spat, landing.
"This is the spot, huh? Where exactly did you two come out of? Here?" Cyprus asked, pointing to a spot that had been ever so slightly disturbed.

“Would you like me to gather the chefs? It seems an honorary feast is due. After all it isn’t every day that two tribes ally with us….” He asked Venom, then continued. “Of course I’ll have to gather a hunting party as well, can’t have a feast without food.” He finished, giving Venom a knowing look that said “just play along, I didn’t see the bear remember?”


( and if the whole village came for a feast, it could be like a big celebration with dancing and music and stuff! )

“Of course, that sounds like a wonderful idea.” Venom said with a knowing look towards her spy. “Perhaps tomorrow night, though. Consider it an invitation Fae! And bring whomever few dragons you’d like to. I killed a cave bear right outside the northeast border, go have someone get that!” She called to one of the WebWings waiting on-talon for the queen. “We can prepare it for tomorrow tonight. As for right now,” she looked expectantly towards Fae and Leif. “Shall we depart? These three are my chosen guard.”

(Leif is not with them right now- he did return to Pyrrhia, though I should have made that clearer.)

"We shall." Venom raised her talon, the gold chain hanging limply across her claws. She gently reached for Venom's talon. "I will need physical contact with all the dragons whom Venom wishes to accompany us."

"We will reappear in a small library in the Summer Palace. Stay close. Leif should have collected and prepared the royal guard by now." Fae took a deep, steadying breath. "Is everyone ready?"
