Of course I know him, why?” She flapped her wings and paced towards the balcony.

"K, so then Ruewen is stupid suspicious of Fae, from when we met her before, but the SkyWing Queen wanted him to take Leif out, and he concocted this plan to meet Fae at the Den and kill both her and the Animus, but we needed Fae to, like, get his protection stuff spells off of him, Leif, I mean, and then Ruewen drugged Leif, but Leif noticed and got stupid ANGERY and then he vanished with Fae." Aloe used her good talon to mime an explosion. "It did not go well."

A bit of defiance flared inside Leif, but he pushed it to the side. "I have no hope, little dragon." He answered plainly, a hint of arrogance in his tone. "So I suppose that makes me- *gasp*, oh-no," Leif's voice shot up a mocking octave as he gave Chenoa a stupid look, "hopeless."

Tawny cringed backwards and tried the shrink behind Aloe. "Aloe," she whispered nervously.

“Oh Leif. Please tell me what you would like me to do. Because I am definitely not going to just leave you here in your stupid state of hopelessness ” *there. That should fix him for a minute* she thought, anticipating his next words

Raptor kept her back turned from Aloe for a long moment.
“What..?” She yelled, whirling around with an unbelieving tilt to her head.
“S- so Queen Fae is dead or what? Or is Ruewen dead? Who’s dead!” She growled. “I leave for an hour or so and everything goes to flames? Three moons!” Raptor groaned into a talon.
