Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

"I can't take on the whole IceWing tribe, plus an animus, while trying to save Queen Koi on my own!" Walrus said, grabbing for where she thought Reva was.
Walrus growled, trying to hide her fear. "Three moons, come on!" She splashed her tail against the water in frustration, sending up a startled seahorse.
Reva retreated, groaning, "Walrus! Where's- where is that guard we told about the... He's probably warned them... They-" Reva stopped, a flash of blue scales whizzing by her. A SeaWing slammed into Walrus. It was the only thing the guard could see. He did not know of the invisible RainWing- all he saw was an enemy- Walrus.

Down below the IceWings clashed with the SeaWing army. Leif quickly realized how out numbered the SeaWings were. But numbers didn't matter. Not in the sea. The SeaWings surged through the water making quick work of the confused IceWings. Leif fought towards the entry point of the Deep Palace, following the shell and slipping in, brutally murdering any dragon in his way.

Walrus hissed and she thwacked her spiked tail against the guard's side and reached out with her talons, scratching his under scales. She launched out of the water, hovering over the ocean. "What is wrong with you?" Walrus growled. "I'm not with the IceWing army!"
She paused for a moment.
"Is the queen alright?"

She paused for a moment.
"Is the queen alright?"
"Then what are you doing?" The guard hissed, wincing, noticing her bioluminescent scales, "We're all down there fighting. I don't know where or what Queen Koi is doing, but we are far and away crushing the IceWings. Animus or not, they aren't built for swimming."

"Look," Reva began as the SeaWing soldier dove back under the water, "we warned the Queen. The soldier alerted her, or they wouldn't have all been out here fighting. But I need to get back to Blackflower and Brightscales and tell them off this new threat." She appeared in front of Walrus for just a moment, "Where are you going to go?"

Koi slunk through a hallway, breathing heavily, sporting her typical blood shot eyes. She heard shouts and screams coming from up ahead. Koi picked the pace up, snatching a spear off the wall. A massive IceWing suddenly rounded the corner, charging towards her. Enchant this spear to kill that IceWing! She thought quickly. The spear lurched from her talon and smashed into the IceWing, bouncing off harmlessly. It continued to clatter off of him and the IceWing caught it. The spear quickly reversed directions, throwing itself at Koi. The SeaWing Queen reached out to catch the spear, but it changed directions ever so slightly, shredding her talon. Koi shrieked and the spear fell to the ground.

The animus approached Koi with a grimace, trying to think of how he should have worded that last spell. Leif snatched the spear back and launched it at the Queen. Koi dodged it, her mangled talon dragging beside her. Her scales lit up and flashed randomly. Leif chuckled air bubbles and reached for the spear again, this time hitting Koi is the shoulder. The Queen shuddered. Leif smiled.

Kalmar had seen the IceWing leader slip into the palace. This was it. Their Queen was done for. But, in a way, that was a good thing. He couldn't defeat the Animus. He couldn't protect Koi. If it were any other Queen, he wouldn't have thought twice about saving her. But it was Koi and Koi needed to go. Kalmar shot through the water like a bullet, slamming the palace doors shut and getting a few other SeaWings to help move a large boulder in front of it. The water was tainted a deep blue. IceWing blood. Kalmar shivered and headed back to the battle scene.

As a last desperate effort, Koi whispered, "Enchant this room to keep the IceWing animus trapped, seal off all exit points and," Leif ripped the spear from her shoulder, "make it impossible for him to escape." The spear plunged into her chest, and she collapsed.

Aw, Koi..

Walrus shook her head. "I don't know. But you-" She looked at Reva, remembering why she came to the Ice kingdom in the first place. Even though Walrus didn't have proper frostbreath, maybe she could still help put out at least one of the fires in the RainForest. "We still need to figure out what to do about the rainforest. The fire is likely spreading fast. It must be devastating, watching their home burn in front of their eyes."

A NightWing guard walked partway into the room.
“No sign of Reva or the hybrid your highness.” He said, inclining his head.
“Thank you. Will you send a scout after them? Be careful, and try to report back quickly.” Blackflower sent the guard off, and worried greenish color on her ruff.
Brightscales didn’t look much better. “Will- will she be okay?” She said, her voice wavering.
“I’m not sure.” Blackflower said, heading down the stairs with a timid Brightscales on her tail. “I’m going to check on the RainWings. And hopefully Reva’s back by sundown.”

@Chikyboy
Several able-bodied guards, including her right-talon dragon, Serval, followed Raptor up as she stepped into the heat-hazy arena area.
The SandWing blinked her black eyes.
Queen Fennec stood just a few feet away from her, readying herself.
Raptor lifted her lip in a humorous snarl. She shouldn’t underestimate Fennec, but she hoped the queen would underestimate her.
Royalty had no taste for a dangerous dragon.
Raptor shrugged off her light grey cloak, and tossed her satchel and knives to the side.
As talon-to-talon combat was the tradition.

"Ach. I forgot about that." Reva sighed. "We need to report back to the Queen's. I think the-" she looked down at the eerily blue water, "I think the SeaWings have it covered." Several IceWings erupted from the ocean, SeaWings in pursuit behind him. "Are you coming?"

(This is Reva speaking, right? )

"I hope so," Walrus said. Even though she was never a fan of Queen Koi, she was currently the only queen she had left. "Yes, I think... I think I should come with you." She blurted.
