Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

Cyprus took great care to arrange Reva's limbs and wings in an orderly fashion. Then, as a final farewell, he reached into his satchel and took out a beautiful Pantalian necklace, slipping it over her head. *Hah, wouldn'ta had any other use for this anyway.* He thought, trying not to get too sentimental. He had to admit though- it looked good.
"Goodbye, Reva. Rest well." The Leafwing whispered as he stood up, gave the hybrid queens a quick salute, and flew up high into the air.
Condor felt a pang of regret as she watched the care of which Cyprus arranged the dead dragon. It was obvious she was important to him. She opened her mouth to say something, knowing she had been insensitive, but he had already leapt into the air. She hesitated, glancing from the green shape winging away to the two queens embracing each other, wondering wether to stay or follow him.

She felt like a terrible dragon. She leapt into the air and followed Cyprus, easily catching up to him. “Hey I’m sorry, I didn’t know she was important to you. I really didn’t mean to be a jerk.”
She glanced back once more to the desolate scene below, feeling a twinge of anxiety.

"Oh hey!" Cyprus said, turning towards Condor. "Yeah, kinda anyway. I woulda done the same if it'd been one of the queens too. That was their sister." He said, a little more casually than felt right.
But at the same time, it did feel right.

"Oh pshhht, you're good, don't worry about it." Cyprus snorted.

"But anyway." He said, deciding to change the subject. "Name's Cyprus." He extended a talon politely. "You?"

She hasn’t expected him to actually respond. This wasn’t in the script. The script was he flew away forever and she never saw him again and she lived her life in relative peace. She flicked her tail, glancing at his extended talon, without reaching out her own. Ick physical contact.

“Sorry again,” she replied. “I guess I just don’t pay very much attention to my surroundings. Ha.” She glanced back once more. “My names Condor,”

“We don’t get many Pantalan dragons around here,” she continued curiously.

"Condor. Hmm." Cyprus scratched one of his horns.

"Ha, wonder why." He said wryly, but not in a rude way.
