Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

Let’s say it’s night now, does that sound good? (Btw, time difference in Pantala, it’s going to be almost sunset if it’s night in Pyrrhia, morning in Parsealia)

Cicada waited on a large platform for the escort guard. A LeafWing guard stood nearby, keeping an eye on her. She couldn’t see over the tops of the trees, but through the dense foliage, looking east, she could just make out the flaming colors of the receding sun. She heard talonsteps behind her and turned. Acacia tied off a loaded belt around her waist and stepped next to Cicada. “Let’s go.” She said with a light smile. Cicada’s eyes widened. “You’re bringing me home?” She said in surprise. Acacia nodded. “Might as well.” She lifted her wings and flapped up with an ‘oof.’ “I feel like it gets harder to fly every time I take off. Seriously.” She said with a struggling laugh. Cicada rose into the air beside her as they began to fly southwest.
The LeafWing queen was twice her size, and every inch the grand, imposing queen she’d remembered. *The oldest queen in Pantala.* She remembered from her history lesson. *Wow.*
The two flew on for a while over the treetops until the sun was visible, barely a half-circle as it vanished into the sea. They finally reached the edge of LafWing territory, and the edge of the jungle. The savanna spread hugely before them, the grass a molten gold color as the sun dyed everything the color of its fading rays. The SilkWing Kingdom lay just beyond view, in the open forests of the high northwest of Pantala. “I’ve been to the edge of the kingdom many, many times.” Acacia saw with a fond smile. “Mostly just to see the savanna. I can’t deny that the HiveWings have the best view of Pantala. Don’t tell my subjects I said this, but I’ve seen many of them gazing out here before. They’re never admit they do it, but they do.” The setting sun shine brightly on the queen’s faded rough scales, filling them with an emerald light.
She turned to the young HiveWing with a gentle look. “You can get home from here, right?” Cicada nodded. “My mother’s at Mantis Hive. It’s not far away.” Acacia smiled again, but her breathing was becoming ragged. A hint of old pain shone in her eyes.
“Go on then.” She said, backing up. “I have to get back.” She faltered a moment, but then steadily began flying back towards the Poison Jungle.
“Thank you!” Cicada called back. She grinned, and flew over the tall golden grass. Back home.

"Yes ok, I'll attempt to find Queen Raptor" Meanwhile, good luck in finding the Animus, do you know where Leif is?"
Fae snorted. "I always know where Leif is."

What a lie that was. "LIEF!" Fae shouted over the waves. He was supposed to stay at the caves. But he wasn't at the caves. AGH. "LIEF!" Drat. She should have brought him to the palace. But there was no freaking way the SeaWings wouldn't loose their minds if their self proclaimed Queen allowed Koi's assassin into the Kingdom. Fae flew above the caves, squinting below at the jetties. There he was. The hulking IceWing was sprawled out forlornly in the shade of a strangely formed crevice in the rock. Fae twirled in the breeze, shifting into her IceWing form as she dived towards the Prince. She landed softly beside him. He didn't move, nor did he acknowledge her presence. "Are you dead?" Fae questioned quitely, "No? Are you  deaf? I've been calling your name for thirty minutes."
Leif sighed heavily, flopping over onto his back, his wings lolling limply. "And I have been ignoring you for thirty minutes." He grinned, his pained expression melting away.
"Well." Fae swallowed her annoyance. Her expression softened, and she offered him her talon. "Up. No more sulking. I know how to get your powers back."
Leif laughed, resting his head back on the rock. "I am still an Animus."
"Yeah, but, you're," Fae hesitated, dropping her sarcastic tone, she couldn't say he was useless. He'd probably die if she called him useless.
"What?" Leif wondered, and Fae could hear his smile in his tone.
"Not... very... useful." She said carefully, then regretted her choice of words immediately. She couldn't scare him away like before. "You're useful," she corrected, "just could be...  More, ah, useful."
The Prince laughed, his chest heaving with every gasp.
"What's with you?" Fae snapped.
Leif stiffened, his joy careening off some invisible cliff.
"Seriously, Leif. What is your problem?"
"Oh, I have many problems. Shall I list them numerically, alphabetically,"
" Leif." Fae interrupted, "What is the matter?"
The IceWing Prince slowly rolled over, picking himself off the ground. "Nothing, dear sister." He replied firmly.
He was hiding something, Fae knew that much, but now wasn't the time to pry the truth out.
"Well, excellent, then." Fae cleared her throat, smiling at Leif, "Let's go kidnap some SandWings."

Atlantis saw the sandwing Queen in the distance, she hadn’t left the battlefield yet. “You there, Queen of the Sandwings.” He got her attention. “ I heard you have an animus for a son?” He asked cautiously.
( @Blue Raptor )
Raptor looked up, squinting. It was getting hard to see in the rapidly descending darkness, but she could just make out a SeaWingish shape. “What do you know?” She said in a guarded tone of voice. Her army was gathered and she was about to leave the NightWings. It was too dark, so she was planning on camping them halfway.

“Not much, but I had been informed of Gila’s existence. Is he…..dangerous?” Atlantis asked curiously but cautiously.

“Of course he’s dangerous. He’s an animus.” Raptor snapped. “I can’t blazing FIND him though. Who are you?”
“I mean….like Leif? Dangerous like lief could mean the end of all of us.” Atlantis finished with a worried look. “He’s ran away? That can’t be good.” He said, staring into the distance for a moment. “I….I’m Atlantis.” He said, fiddling with his gold ring. Not everyone had to know who he truly was.

“No.” Raptor said with a frown. “He didn’t run away- I think. I just can’t find him.” She snorted. “And I don’t mean your name camel-brain, I mean who ARE you? An advisor? Prince? Someone important? Or literally just a random SeaWing bothering me about my dragons.”
