Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

The two dragons flew a ways before Cyprus stopped and held up a talon, motioning for Cicada to halt as well. He swooped down closer, landing on a high tree branch, scanning the canopy carefully.
Then he saw the kind of thing he was looking for. A couple of snapped vines and a bent Elephant Ear (plant, ya know).
"Down here." He said, looking closer. "Acacia landed here and started... walking??" His brow wrinkled, a little confused. "Hm." He said, shrugging and looking for large footprints in the soft jungle soil.
Finding them almost instantly, the duo went on for quite a ways. "Huh, the tracks are getting deeper. At a glance, one would think that she was running, but look. They're just as level as they were before. If she was running, the front parts of her talons would've dug in way more than the back, causing the tracks to slope downward. But they don't. She was... slowing down." He commented more to himself than Cicada as he studied the footprints. "That's weird." He said, wrinkling his brow slightly.

The direct beams of sunshine shone down, warming the ledge considerably. Astra yawned. It felt good. She decided to lay there for a while and soak up a few rays. Sighing, she plopped her head down between her front two talons and sat there.

One minute.

Three.

Five.

The dragon yawned again. This was getting boring pretty fast. Scratching one of her ears, Astra wondered if she could find someone to hang out with for the afternoon. Even just sitting down and talking to somebody else would more fun than this. Couldn't hurt to take a good, high elevation flight anyway.
With that intent in mind, the Flashwing launched off her ledge again, heading in a random, erratic, but somewhat southward course.
Astra quite abruptly discontinued her southward trek and turned sharply to the west. She could just barely make out the coastline of Scallop Bay* off in the distance. She hadn't been to the beach in a while. Could be fun.

*(Yall can name it something else if you want I guess, just going with this for now.)

After a good while, She came within proximity of the shore. "Ah, nice and sandy." She grinned. It was fun to play with the sand. Instantly darting down, Astra started to roll in it playfully. She didn't go in the water however, as she'd been warned that if a Flashwing wasn't careful, they could easily electrocute every living creature in the water around for almost a mile. So she stayed out of it, not wanting to harm the fish and other ocean critters.

“Ah, yes, very weird. Because..” Cicada glanced left and right then leaned over Cyprus’ head to look at the talonprints. “Hey, why is that weird?” She hissed in a whisper. “Tell me so I can say it aloud and sound smart.”

If she travels closer to the Fire Kingdom, she can run into Spark. :)
