View attachment 1337008 They were introduce to the new coop and almost 80 degrees. Always looking for food! I guess that means the move did not stress them out too much. Precious is in there some where she is a peach and a Barred Rock mix. She comes up to me all the time looking for treats. Put of the 28, 36 that hatched and have survived to 5 weeks and are really enjoying their new home. I am amazed on how fast they grow. Seems like yesterday they were just little chicks all fuzzy. Thanks for everyone's help with suggestions and former posts on incubation. What fun!
I think I am officially an addict. Chicken addict that is. Life is like a barn yard carton of fertile eggs you never know what kind of chicken ya get.
Do they have support groups for this sort of habit forming condition?
As always God's Peace.![]()
I feel much better knowing that I am not alone. I like your incubator what kind? Looks like you have to rotate them by hand or did I miss something? I am looking for something smaller. No more big hatches for me. I would like to hatch some rare breeds next. We shall see. Under 10 ideally.
