They're actually looking at potentially allowing Chickens in the city with the upgrade of the Responsible Pet Ownership by law here in Winnipeg! We won't know if they've been accepted until April 2022. If so, I'll be stoked!

They have a survey and I've been trying to get locals to fill it out. The RPO By Law's been under fire lately because the guy who wants it changed knows squat about birds... or anything other that cats and dogs. There's a huge push to get the information updated and what not, but not to the extremes this one counselor is proposing. Or had proposed.

And as a result, the chicken ban has come into question.

We're fighting to get chickens recognized as decent animals to have in the city. Looks like things are looking up for us!
