BYC's 2026 Valentine's Day Hatch-Along

Pics
I expect there will be more BYC hatch-alongs soon? Hoping so anyway! Easter is first week in April, there's got to be one for that! :highfive:
Oh yeah, I think the Easter hatchalong is the biggest one of the year! I want to say most of the official hatchalongs include about 1-2 weeks on either side of the target hatch date.

I was just wondering about this myself. I have three batches going, including one I just started today, which won't hatch until mid March.
There were no additional contests with this one, like "Guess how many eggs were set," or "Guess how many will hatch," so it really doesn't matter. In those with the related contests, then there's a grace period of a couple of days, not months lol.

What's the next annual/seasonal hatch along?

Oki good, I'll stick around for another week too, to complete the ducklings! :D

I'm not overly fond of the size of the air cells in a lot of the eggs. They're on the small side. The humidity was a tad too high while the other eggs hatched. I had to replace the water tray with a different one to make room for the lockdown-eggs.
While I don't think staggered incubation is bad in and of itself, I think it can open up for human error. Such as a lapse of attention towards the younger eggs as the first ones hatch.

Several more are moving, and I placed the two first in lockdown.
