Winter blues

This is mainly directed at the people who live in the cold/snowy regions. Anyone besides me get sick of having to bundle up and trudge through the snow and cold to go out to the birds on a daily basis? It didn't seem to faze me like 25-30 years ago, but the last few years I keep telling myself that this is the last year... I'm selling them. Buttt... along comes the nicer weather (usually April or May where I live) and I seem to forget about it until the next winter comes haha. I'm just curious if anyone else gets tired of it haha

I’m not sick of going out to take care of the chickens but I’m just sick of winter. I’m tired of these snow storms dumping feet of snow at a time. I desperately want to clean out the coop but I have no where to put shaving and wheelbarrow doesn’t push through 3 feet of snow. I want to have the sun on my face and my hands digging in the garden dirt. I too am not going to get spring till April/May I’m in the foothills of the Adirondacks. I just keep reminding myself that this is why I don’t move.

I live near Buffalo, in the "Southtowns"... aka the snow belt. Back in 2014 when we got the 7 foot snow storm, it took me a couple days to dig my way back and into the pigeon loft. It gets old... just like my aching back haha
