are these cornish X? i suppose if the little one doesn't grow much she should have a good quality of life...
the big one though... will she eventually croak of a heart attack? i feel like these birds are ticking time bombs...

they have grown since then. i will try to get some more pics today. you can see the size difference between the larger and the runts.

there three birds are no more. i would estimate that they are 6 lb birds. hard to say since i don't have a scale!here is the update on my slow growers. i separated out three of them to fatten for christmas. i guess this has been working since they are a bit bigger than the others.
i intend to process them friday and allow to rest in my fridge until christmas. sure wish they were bigger.
they will be 10 weeks old this friday and they are all females. the remaining 6 will be given an extra month- or whatever, i am throwing them in with the regular flock and as they fatten i will process them.
this one got curious.
