Winter coop almost done (Video)

I am not sure this is the right place to share this but I am almost done my winter coop. I built it last year. Just 1 layer of outdoor siding on it last year but this fall I added insolation and another layer of plywood on the inside. Hopefully this will keep my chickens cozy warm in our cold Canadian winter.

There are 5 bunnies living in there. They are Angora rabbits. They get along just fine with the chickens. Both dogs get along fine with the chickens too. Even the big black one!

i have heard of them but i guess ive never seen one before. great, now i want one! do they benefit the chickens or visa versa?

No there is no benefit to having them really. They are just cute. We do use their fur for spinning into yarn. Its super soft and warm.

there really nice, what type of heat did you use in your coop? was thinking of using a heater but everything is running off an extension cord from my pole barn

I am using a little space heater. I installed the proper line from the house to run it though. Running a heater off an extention cord might be a little much.
