winter coop placement

My coop is in my back yard for the summer. I'm going to have to move it for the winter to have it closer to electricity.

I thought I would move it up near the back of the house but I realize that the area isn't level enough. Also it's not the best place as it's on the north side of the house - the least sun and the most wind - not good in the Wisconsin winter.

I have a two level concrete patio and I was thinking of putting it on the lower one. My question is - will having the coop on there for the winter permanently stain or otherwise harm the concrete? Winter here is from November through March.

That spot would be level, close to electricity and get more sun.

thoughts?

thanks!

I would probably try to put something down under the run to protect the conrete and make sure to keep any shavings or bedding you put down is turned and cleaned regularly, maybe some perspex or painted plywood.
