Hi all, I haven't been on here for ages but needed some advice re: winter feeding.
I live in the west coast of Scotland where it is very wet and rather cold during the winter.
What do you think I should add to their feed to help them along??
They already get layers pellets in the morning and mixed corn at night along with some 'treats' just before bedtime.
Do you think oats, cod liver oil etc is a good idea??

I can't help out much but I've heard ppp give I think it's called hot or warm mash. Not sure. I think it's like a mixture of like scratch, oatmeal, boss, and anything else and they add hot water and give it to em. I would also think that if the days are cold giving them scratch on the morning would also be good since it would help then raise their body temp.

Sounds like what your giving them now is good. But a little extra scratch like yardbird said can't hurt.
