I have my chickens on laying mash crumbles and at night when I'm getting them back in, I throw down scratch. They free range and also get treats of turnip greens, tomatoes, watermelon, raisins, plain boiled rice and speghetti Is there anything else I can be giving my chickens to fatten them up for winter (to keep them warm)?

You can sprout wheat in trays and cut the tender shoots off - that is what they juice to make wheat grass. You would do fine with just corn (extra to their mash) but the more variety the better, so really anything else that you can think of (within reason
