The bay on the left is unraced, we don't even know how much/ if she is trained, but she was a broodmare until last year, now she's a pasture pet. I can see why she wasn't raced, though. Her gaits are very short and choppy, she isn't athletic until she as an itch. The grumpy dude on the right was 3x Oklahoma horse of the year, retired from racing at 8, and was retrained to be a jumper, he's retired from that now. The one in the middle is my girlie. She was raced when she was 2 and 3, then was a broodmare up until last year. I haven't ridden her yet, we are aiming for the Retired Racehorse Project in 2026, but my goal is Dressage and either competitive trail or freestyle. It would be cool to train her to drive.

Thanks for telling me about them! I just googled the Retired Racehorse Project. That looks like fun and something I might have tried if I was younger!
