Thanks JackE! I see how your coop is open (your coop is awesome!)- I didn’t realize they could be in weather so cold and still keep themselves warm. Since this will be my 1st winter with chickens I was worried I would come in one cold morning and find them all with hypothermia. It’s pretty impressive how hearty they actually are!
I didn’t think about the pest aspect of insulating. I don’t have a pest problem and I would like to keep it that way. If they are fine without insulation, that will save me some time and $!
