Winter water advice

Since I have a heated waterer with open water I keep it outside in the run by the pop door so it doesn't fill the coop with steam. I do keep a non-heated waterer inside the coop, but it often freezes over, so is swapped out daily.

I very much prefer a heated element that is placed inside the waterer (like the one in the picture @AinaWGSD posted above) over waterers with integrated heaters. Why? Because I can easily and quickly swap out the containers instead of unplugging it every time and dragging the whole thing inside, cord and all, to clean and refill it.
