I am thinking of using the rubber tubs also.
Ducks do not need a pool in the winter.......... I know they'd love one, but as long as the rubber ones are deep enough for them to dip their head in then that is fine. Right?
of course, mine have about 2 months when they don't actually have water they can bathe in, I have heated buckets and if I can I'll put out a mixing tub for them to play in on a day when temps aren't below 32* my white ducks start to look dingy but it doesn't hurt them. They look that way most of the time anyway from playing in the mud. lol
