Winter waterer.

and while I have not invested in the tri-fuel conversion mainly because I haven't lost power in 5 years now, I do always keep a supply of treated fuel to be able to run my basics for 3-5 days depending on season in case the gas stations have no power. An all too often occurrence here.

The reason I invested in the tri-fuel is because in my area there has never been a time that I know of that natural gas and electricity both went out at the same time... We have had some bad storms, that have taken electricity out for days, but never natural gas for more then a very limited few hours if that... I always have about 20 gallons of gasoline on hand for the garden tractors, snow blowers and what not, and that alone will buy me a decent amount of run time, but it sure is convenient to be able to hook it up to the natural gas line and not have to worry about topping off the tank ever... And having the option to use propane from BBQ tanks or my other large propane tanks for my pool and chicken coop building is convenient as well...

Natural gas is not available where I am, so the tri-fuel is less usable to me. Now if I could only find an economical diesel unit to run off the few hundred gallons of heating oil I always have that would be the best.
