Hey everyone,
With winter fast approaching (in Ontario) I want to find a new waterer system for my ducks.

I’m wondering what everyone’s set up looks like, if you could please show me :)

I currently have a pool and a small waterer (that they can’t dip their bills into). I’ll be removing the pool for the winter (as I won’t be able to fill it).

I need a system that I can put a water heater into that the ducks can’t get in (because they just poop in the water).
Thanks!

So state line tack sells these amazing 2 gallon rubber heated buckets. I set them in a rubber feed pan with handles to catch the water they fling sooo easy, everything stays dry with the rubber pan that I dump quickly and they never freeze even with the subzero weather here (previously I had problems with plastic cracking). I only use 2 gallon water buckets for my ducks waterers besides their pond. They can dunk their head fully, but can’t crawl into them and they fit easily in my rubber pan that catches the mess.
