During the warm seasons water is easy-peasy. I use a plastic waterer with the gravity fed cups. But with freezing weather on the way it's time to switch to something that can handle winter temps.
In the past we've had excellent luck with the black rubber bowls. But this is the first time I've had a crested bird, and I've discovered that her head feathers dip in the water and get soaked!
Temps are still mild right now, but I forsee this being a big issue when daytime temps start to dip below freezing.
Anyone with crested breeds have any suggestions?
