If I keep it up on blocks it won't be a problem to keep clean. I have a 7 gal watering fount now and only fill it half full since there's water in all three runs outside. I want something inside I know isn't going to freeze solid. This looks safest to me.
There are other sources for the same thing if you'll search heated plastic poultry waterers. This was the least expensive that I've found so far.
