As you make your plans, I'd say stay away from the reptile equipment. It is going to use lots of electricity and is designed to be used indoors and therefore only keep a small area warm. A heat lanp-or even a regular incandescent bulb will be much better in coop.

But a small area is all I have to keep warm. It is a VERY tiny coop. A light bulb would be pretty much guaranteed to start a fire.
