hi i have a rabbit that is almost a year old and she has a rabbit hutch that has wire flooring i put hay on it so it will not hurt her feet but i know that they can get those bumps on there feet cuz of the wire and i was wondering if the hay would keep that from happening and how do i help her if she gets it

Sore hock? There are plastic pieces at Tsc that you can buy to put on the wire. OR if you can get some wood to lay in there for her to sit on. You want for the poop and pee to still be able to go through the wire so don’t place these things in her potty corner.

Many people raise rabbits on wire floors. They are much more sanitary than solid floors because the waste drops on through. Ditch the hay and get a board or something for the rabbit to sit on if you are concerned about sore hocks. In all the time I had rabbits, I had them on wire floors and I never had a rabbit with sore hocks.
