Wire on floor for ducks

Would it be better to do a wooden floor or wire we thought wire but then my dad thought when the wire would give would it affect them in anyway

I think a fine mesh wire would work okay - would certainly keep their poop and sloshed water off of them. You might as in the duck thread as well.
