( We've never tended cat litter boxes. Dog person here. And now, chicken person. lol)

If it weren't for chicken's heat sensitivities, I'd be wondering about the composting toilet method of dropping humanure in a chamber below the toilet, then baking into a powder, to prevent flies and odours.

Again, I'm trying to work around family doing the chores.
If this is all a goal for less chores, look into Deep Dry Bedding method with organic materials. I do this because I hate chores and it allows me to basically only clean out the soiled bedding once a year from where they sleep
