Wise to get Silkies from TSC?

The broodiness for me is the important thing, this is great to know!! Yours look more crested or puffy than some, thats good to see as well. What hatchery does your TSC use?

I’m not really sure I’m in Arizona. And I know they have them shipped in.

Get a extra few chicks .. in case some wont make it.. least give them a chance to gorw up.eventually disease ,old age or predation will take some anyway.. that is a given..And what better excuse to get extra chicks

I have silkies and silkie mixes.. ever only had one broody hen and she just raised me 3 nice babies.
