... of two of my roosters, cuddling TOGETHER last night on the top roost bar, just two hens away from the king rooster. I've never ever seen that. They are usually spaced quite a bit apart. One is technically still a cockerel, but he's been mating regularly. These two are about 1 year old and 8 months old.
That's all, I just wanted to share. Roosters aren't always jerks to each other. :)

I have two creole old English game bantam roosters that are brothers and every night they roost up in the barn rafters right next to each other. On the nights that they aren’t right next to each other all of the bantam hens are in-between the two boys (they look like book ends). I have never seen them fight each other either, but I have seen them try to kick the big roosters butt a few times. They are also identical so I call them “Thing 1 and Thing 2”. I have no idea who is 1 and who is 2😂. I have no use for them since I don’t hatch bantams, but they also don’t cause any issues and the bantam ladies like them since they are polite with them so they stay🤷‍♀️

I missed another photo opportunity with them last week, when Goldie, Roofuss and Blackbeard were all three in the side yard of the run, hens scattered about all about. They were each standing at attention in a triangle shape, tails pointed into the center and heads looking out. Just for a moment, but it was beautiful to see. I think I lucked into a good team of boys!
