I’m not sure about generic witchy gift ideas but this is how I am approaching a gift…

It’s my mother’s birthday this week and I’m seeing her on Friday. The night before last I dreamed she called me and was very impatient/frustrated and asked me if I had sorted out the lobster salad for her birthday.

That night was the 12th day of the lunar cycle. Dreams on the 12th can be prophetic and come true in 7 days. Very timely. My mother has asked for gift cards to a particular shopping chain so she can get solar lights… but guess what I’ll be getting (making) her instead lol.

My mother’s love language is gift giving. She doesn’t understand me very well and often gets me gifts that are well-intentioned but miss the mark. So it will be interesting to see how the lobster salad goes down…

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes it depends on the intentions you set before sleeping and/or how you remember and record dreams upon waking. I’ll give some examples. Dreams on the new moon and beginning days of the lunar cycle set the intentions/tone/blueprint for the month. Dreams on “intense” lunar days like the first quarter or Day 23 can be nightmarish. Dreams on Day 17 and Day 24 will relate to feminine and masculine energy respectively. Some days reveal karmic/spiritual issues, indicate areas of strength or growth, show hidden talents, etc.
