My boyfriend got home from work tbis morning while it was still dark. He heard something by the coop and low and behold it was a raccoon
He chased thst sucker making banging noiaes at it until it ran off completely

This explains why sometimes my ducks are little Hesitant coming out in the morning when I open their door

Most if the time they quack loudly when I say gooood mooorning as I walk to their coop and bob their heads form a single line and come on down the ramp
A few times they quack low and when I open the door they are standing toward the back of the coop nervous takes them a little longer to come out.
Firsr few times they did it I thought they were mad at me lol (i take everything personal)

My chickens are always like yay freedom.. And rush out

Sorry to say it will be back. Hope your area is secure so that it can't get to your birds.
Ohhh I know ..never that easy to get rid of them
Their coops are secure.
I make sure their food is locked up in a metal trash bin and they can't open it
No food left out in the pen
Only window into the coop i reinforced with another layer of chicken wire
Plus some other things

I love my game cameras. Some have better picture quality but most nights I get predators on at least one of the cameras.
