witnessed 2 eggs layed within 20 min.

wow!! i actually WITNESSED my Cuckoo Marans laying 2 eggs within 20 minutes! she's a new layer....and takes quite a few days off before she lays again. The 1st egg is a regular pullet sized egg (peewee on my egg scale) and was layed in the nest. then, i thought she was done (of course) and she got out and walked around on the grass, then "pooped" out a smaller egg! i actually thought she did poop and was shocked to see an egg!

Sounds like a fart egg, and doesn't seem too off base for a new layer.

Did you crack it open? Was there a yolk?

well, i JUST now cracked it open, and it surprised me to see a yolk in there! wow! is it still considered a fart egg?
