WNC newbie

Hi, have been referring to this site since March2013. Figured it's time to become a member. I would like to thank EVERYONE for their input no matter what the topic!! Lot's of info here. As we are preparing for winter, I'm sure we will have a lot of questions(thank you in advance). It's looking like this year will be harsher than the last two and I want my chickens to be as comfortable as I will be inside the house. I am amazed at how attached we have become to these wonderful girls. Any advise for chickens raised in the WNC area is appreciated!!
