Hello!! I just had a bunch of my Muscovy eggs hatch!!! Yay!! One did end up not making it. It got stuck in the egg and momma didn’t help it. I have this little baby. The momma hen (my chicken decided she was gonna give us babies!!) started helping to soon I believe because there was some blood when I found it. I brought it inside and wound up helping it hatch. It was a long hatch. The baby moves around a little but it’s mainly been sleeping. When it sleeps it sleeps with it’s head to the side like in the picture. And when it’s up and moving so to speak the head is really wobbly. Is this from the long hatch? Should I be concerned? Is there anything I can do to help?

Hello...I'm sure the Duckling is already stronger today.
They sleep lots and need time to get strength in neck and legs..Plus they absorb the yolk after hatching.

How is the lil one this morning @ICB42 do you have any Poultry Nutri Drench you could try giving tiny drops into the bill or along side of the bill for extra boost, but more than likely it's just tuckered out from the long hatch.

I gave the little on brewers yeast and it’s fine it’s doing great!!
