I have a Barred Rock hen, just over a year old that was happy & thriving up until 4 days ago and then I noticed she was just sitting in the grass all day. I brought her into the house but there has been no improvement atall. It can't be parasites, internal or external as I have just recently wormed my flock for the 1st time with Safeguard goat wormer . They have also been dosed with Ivermectin pour on, and 3 weeks ago were treated for coccidea with Corid. None of these were given at the same time.
My first thought was that she may be eggbound? Gave her the warm baths, stuck my pinky in the vent with KY to see if I could feel an egg but I can't, however, she hasn't laid an egg since she has been in the house.
This morning I read about heat exhaustion so just took her outside and bathes her with cold water but she is still very wobbly on her feet and spreads her wings for balance for 10 seconds and then sits again.
She is bright in herself and is eating and drinking but just can't seem to stand for long?? The rest of my flock of 40 are all good and our chickens free range and are locked up at night. Any advice/info would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure but if you think it might be parasites then some Apple cider vinegar in her water might help get rid of it or bacteria. It wont hurt her but if it has a chance of helping her. I do a 1/100 mix with cold water, 9 teaspoons a quart.
