I've got a sick chicken on my hands. My main concern is the whether or not what is keeping her down might be contagious. We have a flock of 8 (3 1 yr old Ameracaunas, a RIR and a barred rock about 11 months, and we recently added 3 new pullets to the flock).
Her symptoms are lethargy, wobbly when walking, not interested in eating or drinking, diarrhea that was yellow-green. I pulled her from the run and her in a tub sleeping on fresh bedding. She has a small bowl of water.
She hasn't laid eggs since last fall. I'm more concerned about the rest of the flock than loosing her, though I'd like to save her if I can without spending $$$ on her.
