Day 16 and all was going smoothly. 36 out of 42 eggs were viable on Day 10. Now I wake up to turn the eggs and the temperature in the incubator is 95 F. Lerway STC-1000 thinks the temperature is higher than it is even though the probe is placed correctly away from the heat source. Any hope? Googled the Lerway STC-1000 and confused how to calibrate my old model. Help please.

You should have a separate thermometer with an hygrometer in your incubator. Do you have your humidity high? Sometimes it can mess up the temperature and even the heating elements.

Thanks, BirdsBeesTrees. I do have separate humidity and thermometers in unit. The problem is with my limited knowledge STC-1000 when it comes to recalibrating the device to control temperature. Looked at lots of videos this morning and couldn't figure out how to recalibrate. This home built incubator has worked for me for years. Maybe the controller just fried itself. Thanks for the info on temperature and humidity. The eggs were probably down to 95 F for 6 hours.
