Woke up this morning to a barking dog and a skunk in the chicken run

skunk I aint relocating it they do way to much damage go to a local sporting goods store and buy a pellet rifle that shoots 1000feet per second and then relocate him from this life to the after life. I am not rasing chickens to feed ANT dog or other predator if it comes in my yard it is as good as dead!!

Thanks so much to everyone and their wonderful ideas. The thing I have found to be the most effective is to lock the girls up every night. Now we have a door to the area where the nests are and so far everyone is still alive. I also took some extra moss rock we had and placed that along the perimeter of the run.

Compound bow would do yhe trick, its what I would use if I couldn't use rifles. I would also look at an air gun, pellet gun, 22 caliber, some have as much punch as a 22 short. I have a Benjamin 22 pellet rifle, accurate to 35 yards, has 800+ feet per second, with a pointed hunting pellet and head shot, you will have one dead skunk.
